Questions:
Our enterprise is in the process of migrating from OpenVMS
to WinNT on Alphas.
I have a collection of pristine Tadpole Alphabook 1's that I'm
trying to load NT 4.0 on.
the usual console command of:
SET OS_TYPE NT
does not invoke the ARC console. After discussing with
Tadpole support, they advised that they do not have a compatible
ARC loader. Since the Tadpole is based on the AlphaStation
400, would the 400's ARC loader work?
If so, where may I get a copy?

The OpenVMS wizard is not the appropriate wizard for this question.
Unless the Tadpole and Microsoft corporations indicate otherwise, the
Microsoft Windows NT operating system is not supported on the Tadpole
AlphaBook 1.
You will want to consult with Tadpole for information on what might
happen (or not happen) should you load an AlphaStation 400 ARC loader
on it, and for how one might load ARC and NT on the Tadpole 1. (The
wizard would recommend confirming at least ARC support with Tadpole,
before attempting to reload the ARC console.)
