The crash message happens after the VMS startup welcome message. CODE=000001CC: INVEXCEPTN, Exception while above ASTDEL No current process defined in CPU database. b) This machine has ISDN and V.34 modem installed internally. I will be spending a large amount of time in VMS in the coming months (as opposed to NT) and would like to be able to connect to the net from VMS. Is this possible ? Any useful help would be appreciated. cheers pjl

:The crash message happens after the VMS startup welcome message. : :CODE=000001CC: INVEXCEPTN, Exception while above ASTDEL :No current process defined in CPU database. Please confirm the PALcode version is correct for OpenVMS Alpha V7.1, and upgrade it if necessary. :b) This machine has ISDN and V.34 modem installed internally. : I will be spending a large amount of time in VMS in the coming : months (as opposed to NT) and would like to be able to connect : to the net from VMS. Is this possible ? Yes. You and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) will need to work out both a compatible set of communications protocols, and a compatible set of communications hardware. (And you will need to locate host drivers for the ISDN and V.34 devices, if you do not already have these.) |
