:Is VAX/VMS V5.5-2H4 the last of the V5.XXX versions?

OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2H4 was a hardware release shipped out for
support of specific then-new VAX platforms, and was derived
   from OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2.

The "next release" after OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2 is V6.0, and the
"next release" after OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2H4 is V6.1.

OpenVMS VAX V7.1 is the current version.

   The DEC FDDIcontroller 400 DEMFA-AA XMI-to-FDDI controller -- if
that is the particular XMI FDDI controller you have -- requires
   V5.4-3 or later.
