Questions:

Is there a way to access a Paradox database on a PC network drive
from Vax COBOL (much in the same way Oracle Pro*Cobol accesses the
Oracle database using SQL*Net)?

Currently using:
Vax 4200 with VMS 5.5-2h4
Multinet 4.0
Paradox Ver 5 on Novell Network

Thanks a bunch.

Please ask Paradox what network (remote) access protocols they support.
Once you know this, then you can determine which of the supported remote
access network protocols -- if any -- are available under OpenVMS.

Most databases support remote access via SQL or ODBC protocols...
