I want to TN3270 from our VMS box 'through' that proxy server to an IBM host on the other side. How can I set up UCX to automatically go through the Proxy? Or is there a better way?

1626.1 | Check Firewall Documentation | XDELTA::HOFFMAN | Steve, OpenVMS Engineering | Mon Feb 24 1997 12:54 | 11 |
There are several different constructs that are all refered to as a `proxy', and this can get somewhat confusing... Given the reference to TN3270, I'd assume that the target system was a firewall, and not a proxy -- if so, check the documentation associated with the firewall on properly configuring the firewall. Normal IP routing should cause the application to reach the (protocol-specific default) port on the firewall. Few of these components in use here are specifically identified, and most appear well outside the realm of the OpenVMS wizard. |
