I can change this in the oprtions and save the options but when I restart the Decterm I still get an acknowledgement beep amd message. What must I do to get rid of the acknowlegement and the beep?

:When something being print with the print option in a Decterm I always :get an acknowledgement and a beep. I can change this in the oprtions :and save the options but when I restart the Decterm I still get an :acknowledgement beep amd message. What must I do to get rid of the :acknowlegement and the beep? Create a DECW$TERMINAL.DAT in the DECW$USER_DEFAULTS area, possibly via a SAVE of the DECterm options. (Be aware that various versions of DECterm default-save to DECW$TERMINAL_.DAT, and this file must be renamed to DECW$TERMINAL.DAT.)
