Re: VAX MAIL
In my vax account, I found some MAILxxxxxxxx.TEXT files.
Those are some emails. From time to time, I got these
files in my account. I can use "type" command to
read the file but not from MAIL. How come I got
these files? These files are anonying since it takes
up space and I cannot use MAIL to organize them.

Please enter the command:
MAIL> SET MAIL [.MAIL]
This command will relocate MAIL-related files into the specified
[.MAIL] subdirectory. This command does not delete the files, but
it does often serve to `clean up' your SYS$LOGIN: login directory.
Files with names of the format MAIL$%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%.MAI;1 are
mail messages that are larger than about three blocks in size.
Mail messages smaller than three blocks are stored directly in
the MAIL.MAI file.
