:Is there a planned date for turning off support for OpenVMS V6.2 Prior Version support is presently available for OpenVMS versions as far back as V5.5-2. For the exact dates when a particular release is expected to move from the standard support to a prior-version status, check with your Digital contract administration contact, or with the folks at 1-800-DIGITAL. :and is there a planned date when OpenVMS will no longer be supported :on the VAX platform? There is no announced date. There are presently new OpenVMS releases for both OpenVMS VAX and OpenVMS Alpha under development. Given the previous history with the PDP-11 series platforms, support for the VAX line will likely be available for quite some time into the future, though support for specific older processors -- as has traditionally been the case -- may/will occasionally be dropped. |
