I am using EXCEED to open a decsession on my PC. Exceed is configured in single window. I start the xstart with the command run sys$system:decw$session all goes good! The only problem is that when the decsession starts I get an error message: X Toolkit Warning: I18NOpenFile: Couldn't open file sys$library:decset$envmgr.uid - MrmNOT_FOUND Can't open UIHierarchy ... Make sure that logical sys$library:decset$envmgr.uid is defined This also if I have defined defined a logical name for sys$library:decset$envmgr.uid what's the matter? thanks in advance! best regards.

Something in your login or in your window manager startup folder is attending to invoke the DECset environment manager (such as the implicit startup performed via LSEDIT/INTERFACE=DECWINDOWS), and is unable to locate the necessary sys$library:decset$envmgr.uid file. The decset$envmgr.uid file is located in decw$system_defaults:, specifically in SYS$COMMON:[DECW$DEFAULTS.USER]decset$envmgr.uid, a directory which is referenced, along with sys$library as a `last resort' for the search. It would appear that the file is missing or is protected against access, or that the logical name search list decw$system_defaults is set up incorrectly. Which version of DECset is installed, and can you reinstall? If the problem persists, contact Digital customer support. |
