   Symbiont, n. One of the organisms in a symbiotic relationship.
   The word orginates from the Greek sumbioum, to live together.

   Another name sometimes used is demon (or daemon).  A daemon is
   an attendent spirit; genius.  Or one who is extremely zealous,
   skillful, or engrossed in a given activity.
