PrintServers are not typically connected by LAT -- these printers use direct network connections via the DCPS (DECprint) software. Given the information in the posting, this appears to be an HP LaserJet printer, and not a Digital PrintServer. Please check the specific device at the LaserJet -- usually a DECserver, a LATprint, or a NIC (an integrated network adapter in the printer) -- for problems. In particular, check the revision of the NIC, as certain revisions of certain cards from certain vendors have problems in the LAT implementation. (You will need to contact the NIC vendor for assistance.) Consider application of the ALPLAT01_062 and ALPPRTS02_070 patches, and try to duplicate the problem. Both are available at Digital's web site. (The latter, in particular, appears to address a similar ABORT problem.) Failing this, contact Digital customer support. | |||||
