I am running Decnet to be able to allow them to 'SET HOST' to each other and it works just fine. However, if I try to use a frame-relay line, it just will not work. I can ping and telnet between the frame relay brouters just fine. Two DEC Network techs were here for a week and left our site clueless. Their response was that our Alpha was not seeing the brouter for some reason. I find this difficult to beleive because I am set up in VMS identically as the point-to-point that works. Any suggestions? Also, I have been searching the net for a copy of the "DEC TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS" manual. I really would appreciate if you could point me in a direction to find this. All I have been able to get are product descriptions and not the actual manual. Thanks.

Please contact the support organization, and ask that this call be "elevated". If two on-site technicians are unable to debug this, it is unlikely that this can be debugged based on the amount of information that can be transmitted via "wizards". :Also, I have been searching the net for a copy of the :"DEC TCP/IP Services for OpenVMS" manual. I really would :appreciate if you could point me in a direction to find :this. All I have been able to get are product descriptions :and not the actual manual. This manual is available on the documentation CD-ROM, and can be ordered in hardcopy. |
