This might be a reasonable way of doing some kind of affinity...

:Im looking in importing/exporting to foreig filesystems from :OpenVms (Files11) :a) ISO9660 for writing CD's via Infoserver, i do : need a tool to convert to ISO9660 Information on the creation of ISO9660 CD-ROMs should be included with the InfoServer kit. If it is not, please contact Digital Customer Support. :b) Connectivity to WindowsNT not be done by going : back in history and using FTP, i would like to have : the capabilty in VMS to mount WNT Disks and read/write : to them. This might be a reasonable way of doing : some kind of affinity... Acquire an NFS client and an NFS server for the Microsoft Windows NT system, and a package such as Digital TCP/IP Services (UCX) for OpenVMS. Other than NFS, there is presently no other way to "directly" access a disk -- other than FTP or similar network protocol -- using a "foreign" file structure. |
