Questions:
We are looking for a utility or software to convert Microsoft Word documents to Digital's standard edit EDT.
Until now, we used Wordperfect and a utility RPL (from Barco Graphics) to convert the documents to EDT, we had setup two tables: one to delete all formating chr from WP (except some: Bold,Underline,etc...) and one to translate-replace the text-chr's. RPL
delete first the header of the file.
Now we are converting from WP to Word V6.0
Word-doc are received on network-PC (LanManager) and after modified, send by PathWorks V5.0 to VAX/Alpha servers were the must be convert automatically, so we can use it for further processing.
Your aswer will be very much appreciated.
