Questions:

I know you cannot transport SCSI initialised/formatted
devices to HSD controller based disk arrays, but could I
if the disks are initialised with the 'TRANSPORTABILITY'
setting under the HSD environment, could I then insert
and write to them on a standard BA350 SCSI array and then
put it back and use the disks on the HSD again?

(I found some information on DSN/ITS under
'Files on HSD05 have LBN's outside range of device'
 but found the response confusing)
