:if i have uic's that are coming up as being used without
:usernames, what does that mean?

   The textual translations of a UIC are from the values stored
   in the RIGHTSLIST, and are identifiers, not usernames.  The
   identifier *usually* matches the username...

:they also have disk quotas being used, but i can't seem
:to get rid of them.

   There is storage on your disk under these UICs -- these are
   probably files created by users that do not exist, or that
   no longer exist, or that do not have RIGHTSLIST entries for
   the UIC group or member.

   Use DIR/FULL, or ANALYZE/DISK/USAGE, to try to locate these
   files.
