I have an MFC application which when run in non-debug mode under MSDEV, crashes MSDEV and leaves the system in a crippled state which can only be cleared by a reboot. MSDEV, Task Manager, PVIEW all cannot be restarted. Logout/login produces numerous error notifications about system processes which cannot be restarted. There is an access violation bug in the MFC application which starts all this going. Anyone want to take a look? /m

I (belatedly) checked with Mark, and his problem (on VC 4.0a) went away after some code changes. If he sees it again he'll save off the workspace for us and we will try for a repro. Mike |
