200.0. "Multiple Windows?" by VMSNET::DEFIANT::s_vore (Smile, Mickey's watching!) Fri Apr 11 1997 12:18

   [hey, my first post w/NetNotes!]

Is there a way to have multiple windows open? With the DECwindows
interface to Notes, I could open multiple messages (both 100.1 and
3.5, for example) so that I could compare between them or whatever.
There doesn't seem to be a "open in new window" option -- or am I
just missing it?

Steve,

minimize one and then open the next note you want, you should get 2
windows

Sure 'nuf, though it appears not to want me to have more than one
conference open (give me a centimeter, I'll ask for a parsec or
somesuch cliche).

Thanks for the assist, Des

Steve,

You can have maximum of 2 conferences open and switch between them,
if you want more just start up another netnotes session, but don't
let it delete the temporariy files it finds

Ok, I'll bite - how are you getting two conferences open? Whenever I
try to open a second, the first closes.

    1. Open first conference
    2. Highlight second conference in Notebook window
    3. Notebook...Open New
