195.0. "What access for a moderator?" by 45862::HILTON (Save Water, drink beer) Thu Mar 20 1997 10:34

    What do set up in the access parameter so I can moderate a conference
    from NetNotes?

    I route through node wotvax, and written notes appear from:

    WOTVAX::blyth.lzo.dec.com::hilton

    However, I set that up as my access, and I get %NOTES-E-NOPRIB, no
    privilege for attempted operation in the bottom of the Netnotes window
    when I try and set privileges.

NetNotes, and the conference moderator has set up my
membership entry as follows:

Member		    Access					Priv

Notes entered by me appear as from:
XSTACY::imladris.ilo.dec.com::grainne
(XSTACY is the route-through node)

... so, I think blyth.lzo.dec.com::hilton should work in your
example. I don't

    I don't believe there's any way to define access for a DHCP assigned
    host address (haven't tried wildcarding it, but wildcarding isn't
    generally advised for restricted conferences anyway).
