Got the right version, anyone got a quick step-by-step that I can hand to
my system manager & say "do this" to get the IP support turned on?

I think it looks to see if UCX is installed and just does the
right thing. (turns on the TCP NOTES service)
Do a UCX SHO SERVICE NOTES/FULL and see if it's there.
It's been about a million years since I actually installed
NOTES so I can't remember if there is a question in the
installation.

| ah, thanks Mike. It appears to be there (see below), but I'm unable to
connect. I've also just installed PATHWORKS 32's DECnet and am unable
to connect that way, so maybe it's not my UCX/VMSNotes end after all -
maybe it's just me ;-)
