	OBJECTIVE 	I am looking for work as a technical writer 
			specializing in developing on-line help systems 
			and end-user documentation.

	SKILLS		Have a thorough knowledge of Windows 95, and 
			experience working with Windows NT and DOS. 
			Proficient with RoboHELP and Microsoft Word, and 
			have used HTML, Adobe Illustrator, Hijaak PRO, 
			CorelDRAW, and Corel PHOTO-PAINT. Type 60+ wpm. 
 
	WORK EXPERIENCE

	1/97 - 5/97	Contract Technical Writer, White Pine Software, Inc., 
			Nashua, NH.  Developed, with RoboHELP, a Windows 95 
			on-line help system for CU-SeeMe, White Pine's desktop 
			videoconferencing application. Help system includes 
			contents, glossary, and an index. Worked with engineers 
			to create context-sensitive help for the application.

	7/96-10/96	Intern, AlphaServers Documentation Group, Digital 
			Equipment Corporation, Maynard, MA.  Revised end-user 
			documentation, proofed on-line help systems, and 
			updated manual graphics with Adobe Illustrator. Wrote 
			illustrated documents on inserting screen shots into 
			Word documents and on zipping and unzipping files.

	10/95-5/96	Circulation Desk Supervisor, G. Eric Jones Library, 
			South Lancaster, MA.  Assisted patrons with research 
			projects and instructed them in the use of various 
			library resources (including CD-ROM indexes), 
			supervised employees and oriented new trainees.

	9/86-5/95	Acquisitions Librarian, G. Eric Jones Library, South 
			Lancaster, MA.  Ordered and reclassified books on-line, 
			processed received orders, assisted with collection 
			development, served as curator of the Stafford Poetry 
			Collection, and supervised employees.

	EDUCATION

	May 1990	Graduated Magna Cum Laude from Atlantic Union College, 
			South Lancaster, MA, with a BA in English and a BS in 
			Art. Received Departmental Honors in both majors and 
			Honors in General Education. Cumulative GPA - 3.8.
