We have an opening for an experienced technical software writer 
to join our team of CAD writers supporting a broad range of 
ALPHA/CAD projects on the leading edge of chip design in  Digital 
Semiconductor. 

Job Description/Responsibilities: 

Write original user's guides and reference manuals and revise existing 
manuals for Computer Aided Design (CAD) software used in the design and 
verification of Digital Semiconductor's computer chips. Write online help. 
Produce versions to be posted on our CAD Website.

Test CAD applications for usability, help shape the graphical user 
interface for applications.

Experience and/or Educational Requirements:

Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 5 years technical writing 
experience, Requires strong  interpersonal  and project management 
skills for working with Engineering in highly technical 
environment. Knowledge of FrameMaker as well as markup languages such as 
HTML and SDML is desired. Knowledge of the internet and current developments 
for online help and graphical user interfaces also desired.
