    We are looking for an experienced Technical Editor to join our team of 
    writers, editors, and release engineers supporting Digital
    Semiconductor Alpha and peripheral chip and board documentation.

    Job Description:
    
    Primary responsibility is to complete substantive edits of Digital
    Semiconductor technical documentation including data sheets, hw reference 
    manuals, product briefs, user guides and more. Follow DS and Digital corp 
    guidelines and standards for style, trademark and copyright issues. Manage 
    edited document thru release to print process by working closely with our 
    release engineers. 
    
    In addition, you'll be able to use your creativity and project
    management skills to initiate and lead usability and competitive
    analysis efforts, as well as play a role in helping writers
    and editors manage documentation schedules and become involved with our
    online, WWW documentation and future projects.
    
    Min 8 yrs exp as technical editor. Excellent interpersonal skills
    and proj mgmt skills. Knowledge of FrameMaker and MS WORD desired.
    Knowledge of DIGITAL style guidelines required.  Knowledge of or
    interest in usability and competitive analysis a plus.
