axp/vms v7.1 spiralog v2.1 posix v3.0 I have a customer site have both spiralog and posix installed onto axp/vms v7.1, as according to spd, spiralog v2.1 does not support posix v3.0. Would that be any implecation / problem that spiralog will cause posix to startup ? rgds /stanley

Presuming you were referring to Spiralog V1.2 (we haven't done V2.0 yet never mind V2.1) then POSIX and Spiralog should be able to co-exist on the same machine providing that POSIX does not attempt to mount a Spiralog volume, i.e. the mount attempt would fail. There should not be any implications for POSIX startup providing that it has nothing to do with any Spiralog volume. Mike | |||||
