| Andreas,
If the tool itself supports OLE2 and the document is of
the OLE defined structured storage type things should work
automatically. Have you tried that already?
The methods for this are implemented on ObjectWithDocument so you
don't have to derive from Text.

Jos

473.2 | Tool supports OLE, document is TIF-File | ATZIS3::atzpc2.aui.dec.com::HUSCHKA_A | SIB-OFFICE | Wed Apr 02 1997 11:45 | 11 |
| Jos,
the tool itself supports OLE, the document is not a structured storage type (TIF-File).
So is there a way that LNX acts as an OLE-Container for a non structured storage file.

| Andreas,
That is not possible. The file is the starting point for OLE applications.
Inside the file also the data is kept about which application to start. That
is no longer based on the extension when OLE is used.
