LINKworks V4.0.8 WIN95 32 bit client A customer has described the following problem: She has two applications; VISIO and LOTUS Organizer. With regard to both of these applications, LINKworks does NOT close the object until she actually EXISs the application; merely CLOSing the object leaves it open as far as LINKworks is concerned. We have the feeling that this can ve solved by adding entries within the registry, but we do NOT know exactly what the entries should be. Thanks, Cb.

Cb, You are lucky, The entries can indeed be entered in the registry, you can define the class names (windows classes) of the windows that you want linkworks to take actions upon. The way to uses this is described in the release notes for 3.0.8. However it never worked! ( can happen) The bug has been fixed last week, and a new kit is waiting to go public. Please watch the kits directory on 'ijsapl' because we will probably put the kit on the net later today! Han |
