I believe that the Syetem Management for WNT documentation with regard to
preparing an historical cell is somewhat confusing:

There is a "CAUTION"  which states the following:

Check that database device for the cell components is large enough to contain 
the historical cell. If not, you must create a new ... or tablespace for the 
historical cell ...

This would seem to imply that the same tablespace (and instance) can be used as 
long as it is large enough.

However, later on in this subchapter in paragraph 15 it says the following:

Install the historical cell by following the procedure described in appendix 
"Installing an additional cell ...." in the installation guide ...

There it says EXPLICITLY that a new instance and tablespace MUST be created for 
Oracle.
