A customer would like to know if LinkWorks supports integration with Microsoft Outlook? I suspect that it would not be a problem, since LinkWorks supports Exchange, but was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with integrating Outlook with LinkWorks. Thanks, Dave

Dave, The Exchange Integration in LNX308 is based on Exchange client Extensions. That works for both Exchange and Outlook. LinkWorks 3.2 will also support Drag&Drop between LinkWorks and the Inbox of Exchange and Outlook. Further you can directly Drag&Drop attachments between an open Exchange/Outlook envelope. That is how far the integration goes. Be aware of the fact that Outlook has it's own Desk metaphore which is not so easy to integrate with LinkWorks. This might be something your cutomer is refering to. Regards, Jos |
