Greetings: I have a customer that is unable to get the automatic server-based conversion feature to work using the DMCDOC unix script in 3.08 LinkWorks. He has requested that I send this up as a bug, but I'm thinking that perhaps he has a configuration problem. I noticed, for instance, that the appendix in the VMS and NT System Managers guides do not contain the same level of detail as the UNIX appendix does, so perhaps there is a documenation issue. Is there a known problem with this script not working? Thanks in advance, Bruce in Atlanta

2200.2 | X.400 mail support for AIX | ATZIS3::atzpc2.aui.dec.com::HUSCHKA_A | SIB-OFFICE | Thu Apr 17 1997 11:13 | 19 |
Hi, we need to set up an AIX based LNX system for X.400 mail support. The MTA is running on an OSF/1 system. The documentation says that the Mailbus 400 Base subset has to be installed on the AIX server. I asked one of our Mailbus people and he told me that he is not aware of that product for AIX. So can you tell me what additional software is needed for X.400 mail support on AIX. regards Andreas Huschka |
