Windows NT V4 and Windows V3.1 LinkWorks V3.0.8 If you have the ilockbytes() interface, and an OLE compatable product ie word it uses the OLE to talk to windows to alter the file menu. Then one of the new items you get is to close and return LinkWorks, but it leaves Word open in the background. Is their a registry change that they could alter or something like that to make Word exit as well, as they have a user that requires this. Otherwise they will live with it. Any ideas? Cheers, Richard Simpson.

Hello, If this functionality does not exist then can it be added to a wish list. If not how can you alter the way it works, Any ideas? Cheers, Richard. | |||||

Richard, I verified this with engineering and this is the expected behaviour. 'Close' means in this case Close the document. To go out of Word they have to use 'Exit'. Regards, Jos |
