VMS 6.2 LinkWorks 3.08c The customer has migrated from OSF to VMS. Whatever you do in OMDBA i.e add users etc when you commit changes it does not fully propogate to all cells, it does not change the corresponding files in the cell pools unless you shut LinkWorks down and restart it. Their setup is such that they have 4 servers, each has a single cell, except one that has two. Each cell has its own pool. Is this going to be fixed so that LinkWorks does not have to be shutdown and restarted each time a change is implemented.. Any ideas? Cheers, Richard Simpson.

Just @op$root:[servers]startcell will do, so users can continue to work. For fixes, please use IPMT. Martin |
