| B's play NYI four times this month!!
Wow, 8 possible points.
Could put us BACK IN A PLAYOFF SPOT!!
We're only 6 points behind TB and HAR.
We still have to play those teams too.
(Only half-kidding. Now I suppose someone will point out that
a first round series against Philly would be a tough one.)

| Isles own the Leafs 1st pick and their own in this year's draft.
If the B's beat them, the Isles are possibly looking at getting the
#1 and 2 picks (Thornton & Samsonov). The real winner will be the
'loser' of those 4 games. :*)

sure fire way to get the 1st overall pick in the up coming draft is
to lose to the NYI.

| ..."Here we LOSE, Broons, Here we LOSE!"
lose these fer us, willya? I only wanna see one more "W" this season
(March 24th, up in ol' Montreal....wouldn't be a weekend in Montreal
w/ out a "W" (so's the Montreal Gazette can call us "the most obnoxious
fans this side on the English Soccer League").....

| Mac....English Soccer fans are not obnoxious...they're known as
hooligans and having sat through several games while in England I can
vouch for them being hooligans. They make the Ruins fans look like
choir boys.

hmmmmmm????
No onto this game: I got a 4-letter word for tonight, and it ain't

| Well, fans who are "cheering" would look rowdy next to a stadium
full of insurance company executives who sit on their hands and wonder
what the hell is going on out on the ice like in Hahtfid.

| re: Barry & Mac (sounds like a vaudville act doesn't it?)
Well I'd rather be sitting in the stands in Hartford than in the zoo in
Bawstan. When I get the time I'll post my last experience in the
Bawstan Gahden with my son...it's not pretty. So whatever rocks your
boat etc.....
Onto to last night's debacle....Are you guys sure that that's not
Blaine Lacher in net wearing a Jim Carey sweater????? Nice move Harry!
But seriously, I caught the highlites on ESPN last night and can't
believe what happened to Cap'n Ray. They showed him crawling off the
ice. Now I am proud to be a Ruins hater but Bourque is the only class
player you have and to see him down like that hurts.....I guess he took
a shot from a teammate off of the back of his skate. OUCH! Back in the
summertime you had 3 class players, Neeley, Oates, and Bourque....how
much longer is Cap'n Ray going to put up with this shit?
And as for the draft.......well I'm betting that Harry will screw it up
royally for you.

131.9 | oh, here we go... | ASDG::MCNAMARA | strange visitor...... | Fri Mar 07 1997 09:15 | 20 |
| ...well, well, Jerry...fellin' yer oats this a.m., are ya?
I've been to Haht-fid many times, and none have been memorable...
in fact the last time I was there (last year), this guy and his woman
were giving us the finger all night (unprovoked, BTW)....had beer
thrown on the guy behind me (again, unprovoked)....the fans know
more about Jai-Lai than they do about hockey, lemme tell ya Jer....
and so Carey suked again...he's gonna get better, this year is a wash,
and rightly so....we needd to rebuild big-time...and if PinHead
doesn't get it right this time, us B's fans won't put up with
it anymore, B-lieve me Jer....it's a a boiling point already....
if ya don't B-lieve me, just tune around the dial (AM or FM), and
just listen to the anger being spewed....
the Whale is only 5-6 "W"'s ahead of this team, so I don't see too
much to be proud of Jerry...now, if you were a Sabres fan, you'd have
a legitimate reason to slack us.....please.....

131.11 | Injured his foot/ankle | STAR::DEAN_G | | Fri Mar 07 1997 12:43 | 7 |
| Bourque took a slatshot to the inside of his foot from Brian Smolinski. It
looked real bad, but the xray showed no broken bones. Deep bruise is what they
are calling it.
Day to day.
