    ....B's take a BIG "W" against the all-mighty Rangers, 3-2!!!
B's got up 3-0. then Tallas held the fort for the "W"...very
impressive indeed....and who the f*ck thought up this schedule?
down in Tampa Saturday, then rush up to Da Big Apple for
    Sunday night? PLEASE!!!!

Ulfie-Da-PUKE slammed McClaren with his usual SLIME-ball
hit, Kyle's out with a separated shoulder....man, even my wife said,
"when is someone gonna hand this guy his head?"....this guy
suks big-time....lemme at him!! I HATE ULFIE!!!

OK, i'll settle down, but seriously, Ulf should be dead-meat
    by now....

Did ya see the Donato goal, a beauty pass by Oatsie on that one fer sure..

yea, like we needed a new reason to hate Samuleson...

What is in this guys head ? And WHY does the league allow
jerks like Samuleson to play this game ? It ruins the
sport. It really does..

That hit was unncessary, cheap, and pretty much sums up
Ulf,, Unncessesary and cheap..

Kyle was having a good game too until that dickhead
took him out.. and what pissed me off even more was that
nobody went after him, of course, he'd turtle anyway, but
what the hell... would a made me feel better!

117.3Welcome to the NHL kid!KAOFS::WATTERSMon Feb 03 1997 10:134
McLaren was caught w/ his head down. Though Ulfie didn't have to
demolish the kid, the hit was legal.

117.4Don't forget the BEANPOT tonight, folks!!!ASDG::MCNAMARAstrange visitor......Mon Feb 03 1997 10:4812
...ya, it also seems that almost EVERY hit Ulfie lays on someone
is borderline "legal"...if Ulfie's hits are "legal" then why is
    The Camster retired?? Huh???

Ulf can go drown as far as I'm concerned....JEEZ!! this guy should team-up
with OJ....both are SLIME-ballz, and both can get away with murder....

Ulfies hit looked pretty legal to me. The youngster will remember to keep
his head up when coming across the ice like that. Nice hit...... If it was
done by someone else, I don't think you'd be soooo p.o'ed.

I can't stand that jerk either but it did look like ol Kyle wasn't
lookin. So what did he get called for ? I missed the call. Charging ???
    Just curious...

it would have had to have been charging. The camera
angle showed Samuleson coming out-a nowhere, and
he was flying. I'd bet you 50 bucks that if the
camera angle had caught more of samuleson before
the hit, you'd have seen him pumping the
legs.. Remember, you're not to take more than three
full strides,, Samuleson is not that gifted
a skater, don't tell me the friggin hit was legal.

Nothing that assh*le does on the ice is close to legal
anyways.

117.8Looks like I missed a good oneDIVER1::MACHADOCrazy on a ship of foolsMon Feb 03 1997 14:437
Looks like I missed a pretty good game. I was otherwise occupied at
the time and when I saw that it was the Rangers I figured that there
was no reason to drop what I was doing just to see the B's take one on
the chin. I guess I shoulda watched.

The hit was legal (because no penalty was called). I don't like
Ulfie either but the kid did have his head down. Bang ! Wake-up
call ! Someone should've taken Ulfie out but but as they said later
in the broadcast "Ulf *knows* he's a target out there and he's very
good at watching his back" - you've really got to pick your spot
with this guy - to get him your gonna have to almost sucker-punch
the guy and take the penalty for it (probably mega-games).

I thought Harkins played well last night too.

no, Chuck, there was a penalty, that's where the B's
got one of the 3 goals. I do believe it was charging.

Pelky - the penalty was not for that check........

Nit-picking: Charging is taking more than 2 full strides.
    (Someone said more than 3.)

Is it really? I thought myself that it was more than three full
strides. Oh well, I guess ya learn somethin' every day.
