| Did anyone catch this game? I thought that the game was an evening
game and only caught the last minute as my wife was channel surfing
Sat. afternoon. It looked like the B's played a pretty good game
judging by the score and how much noise the crowd was making. The crowd
was really into it. I didn't even notice if they used the patented Fox
glow puck. If they did, I'm just as glad I missed it. 8-)

IMHO this was the best all around game the B's have played all year.
Forest-berg made his debut and was completely shut down. Oats &
Bourque each had rockets to the top corner for goals. McClearn scored
25 secs. into the 1st with an awsome diving swat past Billington (I
think Roy would have made the save with his eyes closed).
...AND NO, FOX DID NOT USE THE ANNOYING FUZZY BLUE PUCK!!! ;)

| I agree, this had to be one of the best performances by the Bruins
this season (and I even sit throught the stinkers, usually). They
played consistent defense the entire game with only 1 or 2 breakdowns
(and of course one breakdown left an Avalanche player open in the
slot with nothing Tallis could do but watch it fly by). Adam Oates
has picked his play up considerably in the last few weeks and I
think its rubbing off.
I wish this team could show up at every game and play at this level.

| Agreed, watched the game from a hospital room though,
My son Shawn was in for about a week and a half with a
live abscess,, but the game was easily one of the best
played this year, easily as good as the game the
B's beat Pittsburgh in...
Good team effort, great goal by bourque, and
oates just a a couple of missles,
Forsberg is a great player though,,
