| Did you remove from control panel/system/device manager and then
reboot? Win95 should autodetect it. If not, you should add New Hardware
and let it autodetect.
Try these.

| Yes - many times. It does autodetect it, but when it installs the software,
it comes up as either "Disabled" or "Not working". I have also run the
Control Panel PCMCIA applet which claims to "remove real-mode" drivers (which
I don't have), and after it's done, and I do a power-cycle, the bridge is
listed as "not working".

| Hi Steve,
I had this problem some time ago and the only way I found of getting
around it was to copy the drivers from the original Windows 95 kit.
The files you want are
c:\windows\system\socketsv.vxd
c:\windows\system\pccard.vxd
Delete or rename the current ones, copy from the original 95 kit and reboot.

| Thanks - I may have messed up my system by trying to reinstall W95 - it
won't boot, now. Sigh.

| I FINALLY got it to work - had to copy the blasted files several times
before they "stuck". But eventually they did. Thanks.
I wonder why the drivers that come with OSR2 don't work?
