Hi Steve!

Maybe you can be of any help concerning this:

Hello!

Quite recently I bought a Digital Hinote Ultra II P120, now with 24 MB.
An excellent and very beautyful notebook!
I hoped to get finally a notebook with a good powermanagement. =
Everything works fine EXCEPT resume on 'modem ring' (resume on real time =
alarm, mentioned in the manual, even doesn't exist!)
Which means, I can't receive faxes, it even doesn't wake up from standby =
mode!
I have tried all the options in powermanagement, I am using Bios 2.10 =
and the notebook has been to Digital Netherlands, 2 experts have tried =
everything (also with other modems than my TDK DF2814 cellulair) but =
didn't succeed, they had a Hinote Ultra (486DX50 I suppose), which had =
the resume on alarm option, but which also didn't want to wake up. (we =
used Winfax lite, Faxworks, MS Exchange, when you wake up the computer =
yourself it thinks the modem is ringing!!!!)

What are your experiences? Am I the first to complain?
I think it's absurd for such a high quality product this doesn't work.

Please help!

Sorry, resume-on-modem-ring does not work on the Ultra II when the
modem is on a PCMCIA card. It does work on an external modem connected
    via the serial port.
