Hi, a colleague (remote) has just taken delivery of a VP565 and
is having problems with power-saving.
In the bios he has it setup for power save with battery but no
powersave with AC. However, the machine is going into power save
when the ac adaptor is connected and he is losing his network
connections. (MS Access <> network sql servers - long jobs, up to
3 hours and he doesn't want to keep moving the mouse/pad to keep
his link).
I suppose he could disable/enable power saving in the bios manually
but this seems to defeat the object of having different settings for
battery/ac in the bios.
any suggestions please??
