Dear All, Any known problems with the Port Replicator serial port with a Hinote VP535. I can connect a Handheld PC to my notebook using Direct Cable Connection when not connected to the replicator. When connected to the replicator, the connection stops have way through initialization. Rob

The parallel port of the system is channeled into 2 differnt directions in the port replicator. One is the parallel port and the other is the internal LAN card in the port replicator. This 'electronic' switcher is responsible for the loss of connection as it tries to give equal time to the network circuit. Printing is not a problem under Win95 as it maintains contact very well but other software may not work as well. Vin | |||||

You are discussing the parallel port. I'm trying to use the serial port. Rob |
