The group that I work for have recently had delivered some HiNote VP545's. So far 3 of them have displayed similar intermittent problems. They are :- 1)When using the mouse, for no apparent reason, the mouse pointer shoots up to the top r/hand corner of the screen. 2)The mouse occasionally "freezes" and can only be cleared by pressing the return key. Has anyone else seen problems similar to these?. Dave.

2316.1 | Check Tap-Click, and BIOS/Drivers | XDELTA::HOFFMAN | Steve, OpenVMS Engineering | Thu Feb 27 1997 14:00 | 8 |
I've seen odd behaviour when folks weren't used to the `tap-to-click' feature. Consider disabling this feature -- though, once I got used to it, I really like it... Make sure the BIOS and drivers are current -- see the web site. (I also saw a few flakies before I installed the V1.4 kit.) | |||||

The latest BIOS is 1.05 and the keyboard bios is 1.04A. Keyboard bios requires chip replacement. Bernard |
