| If this is the same problem that I had you need to replace the driver .. take a look
in the DEC Etherworks notes file.
I also had a problem with the sound card on my system... I had to get a driver
for that as well...

2302.2 | don't think so | ALFAXP::M_HYDE | From the laboratory of Dr. Jekyll | Fri Feb 14 1997 15:05 | 15 |
| I don't think it's the same thing. I have the most recent PCMCIA
drivers from the web site. And I haven't even reached the point of
loading the DEPCM drivers yet. When I put the DEPCM card in the slot
the system does not recognize it and beep at me the way it does when I
insert the modem card. But if I look at the PC Card properties it
shows, as I said before, "PCI bus - Socket 1".
If I switch slots it does the same thing - the modem works but the
DEPCM does not.
Could the card be hosed?
Thanks,
mark

2302.3 | other sources? | ALFAXP::M_HYDE | From the laboratory of Dr. Jekyll | Thu Feb 20 1997 08:21 | 5 |
| Ok, can anyone recommend another source of information about this
problem? I'm trying to locate another DEPCM card to try.
Thanks,
