    My neighbor has the shareware version of DOOM and plays it all the
    time.  I was thinking of getting him DOOM on cd but have no idea 
    which one to get him.  I'm thinking maybe of DOOM II but am not sure.
    Is the the hottest ticket as far DOOM is concerned.  Also if you have
    any other recommendations of similar pc games that are available on a
    cd.  He is 14

	Get the Ultimate Doom CD. It's the full registered version of Doom with the three original episodes and a fourth bonus one as well. Or, Doom II, Heretic, Hexen, etc. IMHO these are all excellent games. My personal favorite "Doom-like" game is the Star Wars Dark Forces game, which has excellent art, sound effects, and storyline.
