196.0. "MacDoom welcome?" by PEACHS::GHEFF (Don't blame me, I voted for Zappa.) Thu Aug 10 1995 15:06

    Are we Mac Doomers welcome here? :-)

    I just got my hands on Doom II for Mac. (I'm still at work so I
    haven't had the chance to play yet.) Assuming we don't inflame any
    computer wars, can we play here too?

    try the infamous
    doom2 -devparm -timedemo demo2 -nosound
    and see what you get.

    Assuming it works the same and you can pass it parameters somehow.

    Hey Gery, why shouldn't we be welcome? After all PC stands for
    personal computer and my Mac is certainly my personal computer! =)

    Does anyone know where I can get the Shareware-Doom for Mac?

    Armin.

    I don't think it's been released yet. It was scheduled to be release
    *after* the software hit the stores.
