Since the Heretic notesconference is not available I'm hoping someone can answer this. I've tried to install Heretic and keep locking up my system. Every time I start it up the screen says "Loading Graphics" then I get "DOS/16m error [0] involuntary switch to real mode" and the system hangs. I'm running a CYRIX upgraded 386 to 486-50 with 10 MB of RAM and plenty of disk space. Any ideas??

I can only think it might be something to do with the Cyrix chip - did I hear somewhere once that there are problems with the chip and some games? Cheers, Dan |
