| I presume from the documentation you need one machine as a server (I
never tried it, but I take it a machine cannot be a server AND a
client, � la ROTT ?).

nope, you dont need a unix box, you can also run the server and client
on the same machine....
the unix box is needed for building queues and such for lots of
different games.
if i get some time, ill write up what i did to get it working on only
pc's, but it really wasnt too tricky.

:') (the driver 3c5x9pd.com is on the 3com disk or probably available
