| Wot's the correct mouse driver to use? I thought I was using the latest
Logitech one I could find, however Doom seems to give and error saying
: Incorrect MOuse driver, no SWIFT support (it flashes past during
startup).
Anyone have any ideas?
Cheers,
Greg

Could you..umm...'borrow' another mouse driver just to test it out? Is
there any such thing as a shareware mouse driver on
TRINTY::PD1:[MSDOS...] et al?
Which machine is this on, the laptop?

| The "No SWIFT support" means that you don't have a Logitech Cyberman controller.
The Cyberman is a mouse/joystick combination designed expressly for game use.

| Normally your mouse driver (loaded somewhere in autoexec, most
probably) can have keys/options passed to it, such as (for example)
c:\ mouse com2:
Would specify the mouse is plugged into com2, etc.
Do a "mouse /?" (or whatever your mouse driver is called, imouse, or
whatever, etc.....) to see any options.
This is all I can really think of. :-[ Soz!

| or when you first boot up as soon as the sys say ms-dos hit the f8 key
then all commands in you config.sys and autoexec.bat will ask for a y
or n to execute towards the end of the autoexec.bat one of the prompts
will be for the mouse driver if not then your driver is not installed.
