115.1 | How to leave! | SIOG::S_FARREN | Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster anyone?! | Wed Jan 10 1996 10:23 | 9 |
| Help..pointer needed desperately!
I seem to have cleared everything, killed everything and found
evrtything, all that is except the *$%@> exit!
Any pointers or direct give aways (except for the cheat codes) would be
much appreciated.
Sean.

Another one stuck on this level.
<potential spoiler>
I've searched the hole of the level, been to every room etc. The only
one where the exit can be is behind a door in the room with the square
pillar that rotates, but it won't open The door is on the left side....
On the right side there used to be a door, but that opens up to give you
access thru to another side of the level.
Any ideas on how this door opens????
Pleeeeeeeeeze
Thanks, Emma

115.3 | using map/normal view mode? | SUBSYS::MSOUCY | | Mon Apr 10 1995 16:45 | 8 |

I am not back up there yet (been cheating with GOD mode to cruise
through some levels :) but have you been using the TAB key to toggle
between map and normal view mode to see if there may have been
something you missed? I can't remember that level at the moment, I do
remember the one coming up though :)

I had to cheat like hell on this one. Only way I could finish was to
walk thru the wall. I'd be interested in hearing how it is done
properly though!

Spoiler
When you're in the room with the square pillar, there's pentangle like
marks on the walls. One of these opens to the exit room if you shoot
it with a rifle or use the chainsaw, another opens into a passage which
leads to the room with the 4 columns and a bunch of other goodies.
One of them doesn't do anything I believe.

I've found that making rounds with the chainsaw up against the
walls will sometimes uncover these types of things. When I'm
absolutely baffled, I resort to attacking anything that looks
like it could be a switch with the chain saw, that way I don't
waste ammo.

... Any wall/column with a different marking on it is always worth a
shove. I tend to hold down the space bar and run all round the walls
if I'm a little stuck..
