| Well, I can answer part ii of the previous question...
BOTH of the network stations MUST have the patch, or
you get consistency errors and Doom will crap out...

| Sorry about the file not being there the system manager decided to
purge the public directory and it got deleted. I have copied it back .
The patch needs to be run on your opponets machine it will prevent
him/her from seeing you or other players if you are playing a multi-
player game the path has no affect on a single player game..

No you do not have to patch both machines only the other players
machine if you patch all the players computers no one will be able to
see any other player. I have played this patch on both modem deathmatch
and on a 3 player network game with no problems..
