| Well. I've tried this particular level several times and I still can't
see how to reach the exit. It sits just beyond a pool of fire, up on a
pedestal. (Top, left of the map) I presume that either a bridge needs to
appear or something.
I've got the Red, Yellow and Blue keys and explored everywhere (I
think).
Can someone help, please.

Sorry, didn't get there Friday coz I was only in mission 5 not 6.
So, to continue the vein of the previous reply, I was too far south!
I'll work on getting there today, or tomorrow...

| Is this the level that has 3 rooms at the top left and the teleporter
takes you into each one (been a while since I played ). If it is you
need to get into the left hand and right hand rooms and press the
buttons. I think you need the yellow key for the left hand room( i
think the teleporter in the middle of the big swamp takes you there).
You then use the teleporter at the bottom right to get to the middle
room and finish the level. But then again I might be thinking of the
wrong level in which case you can ignore this!

That sounds familiar, the three pillars are in the big swamp and I
think one of them is what raises the bridge.
I'll have a look tonight if I get the chance.

| one basic rule of Doom: if you see a switch, throw it.
I haven't seen a switch yet that didn't have a desired behavior....
though there are some that open doors best left closed....;-)

OK, Did this level again last night, I didn't have any troubles
finishing it but I think there might have been a switch you missed,
this is in the south east corner of the map, you need to push the
switch and then *run* back out of the little passageway it is in, in
front of you a large wall will have decended and various monsters come
out, kill them all off, then you have to do the switch and run part
againt to get into the area behind the wall, in there is another
switch.
Other that that it's as mentioned previously, just a matter of hitting
all the switches. The one that raises the final bridge to the exit is
accessed by using the transporter in the centre of the main map.
If you still have troubles I'll give a more full description.

| YES! Did it. Somehow I did miss a switch and when I went over it again
more methodically it all worked out.
Went on and finnished final level (a bit disapointing the last level),
although the final graphics are good. Bring on Doom2 :-)

I've now been there and done it, and not noticed anything unusual! I
even went on to complete the 'final' mission. So, specific help I
cannot give you, but non-specifically I didn't find it difficult to
complete!
