| Does anyone have any clues they can give me on this level. I can't kill
the gun-toting big guys, even with all the rockets before getting
killed myself. Or should I try and avoid them and head for an exit
somewhere.

| You'll love this....
The gun toting guy (Cyberdemon) *IS* the exit!!
(Hint: ya gotta bump him off)
How to kill him: (very carefully)
1) He shoots the same rockets you do. Even if you start this level
at full strength, two shots and you're pureed marine, so keep
moving
2) It takes around 30 or so direct hits to get rid of this guy
with a rocket launcher, so you'll need good aim
3) Use a "duck and cover" method, running behind things when
necessary
Eventually you'll figure things out...

I found a brilliant method for killing this guy. With rockets, in open
spaces, he's quicker than you are. But watch his habits. he likes to
hide behind the walls, passing in front of visible gaps which are too
small to fire rockets through ( for you or him). Position yourself a
short distance from the gap, wait for him to pass, and keep firing your
***rifle*** at him. 45 hits kills the sucker, though you may have to do
some running in the interim!

| Umm... use a form feed char (Control-L) to hide spoilers.
Some of us run 48 line windows so spacing is not enough.
Also, I don't have a "rifle" in my arsenal. Do you mean the pistol,
or more likely the chain gun? 45 bullets out of the chain gun
is almost trivial to pump. Interesting news.

| Sorry, couldn't remember the keystroke. (Too long since I used TPU!)
Rifle = option 3 = one up from the pistol. You know, the one you
usually use.
