| I have run into a slight problem with Shareware V1.1 on this level (no, not
baddies).
Using the .BMP maps (found a pointer in the GAMES Doom thread) I managed to
find all secret areas (chansaw and backpack), killed all the baddies and
gorged myself on all the munitions I could find...
Problem! Now I can't exit the level! I get to the "final" room (nice view of
the mountains) hop down into the blue floored pit, press space - nada! The
door doesn't open.
I've been through here before without a problem (I hadn't found the secret
areas before though). Any help, hints, spoilers?!

| This is a bug in version 1.1, the fix is to upgrade to version
1.2

Loaded it.
Played it.
Nightmare mode - yea right - If you started off with tandem chainguns
you *might* be able to last a minute or two. I'll have to try this in
"god mode".
Too bad I couldn't restore my old saved games though.

| Psst, Jason --
God mode doesn't work in Nightmare -- neither do *ANY* of
the cheat codes.
This separates the boys from the criminally insane...

| where is the secret door to let you out to the area where there is a
platform you have to lower? I think there's a chaingun there. Also,
is there anyway to the large outside area to the right of the map?

I warned you...
The secret door is located around where you start the level.
Specifically, around the structure you are facing when you
first enter. I believe it's on the right side. The door is
there, behind it you'll find a backpack, armor and stimpack.
